Life Through a Fish-Eye & New Feature A-Go Go!

I am SO happy about the response I got for the new feature!!  Thank you guys, that is awesome!  Seriously, I love folklore and the paranormal.  I'm glad so many of you do too!  So, for those who have a story and left a comment, I'll be contacting you soon.  Or, if you want to e-mail me, by all means! eeegadserin (at) gmail (dot) com.  I'm in the process of thinking up some questions and such.  I've always said photos are a very welcoming bonus when it comes to features (the more the merrier).  I love looking at pictures, so if there's any way you can link me to photos of places you may want to write about (either your own or website that I'll credit), that would be VERY awesome.

Speaking of photos, I wanted to share some more fish eye pictures.  These were from the past week.  Enjoy!

Here's some more photos of the Alberta Legislature.

Here's one of Ben...he had just passed out in his car seat and had a bit of milk on his mouth...

And some more around the apartment.  I love my Soviet hat.

I'm super excited to be working on Elycia's slideshow for her wedding!  It's been a while since I worked on a slideshow and they're pretty fun to put together.  Maybe one of these days I'll make a how-to on slideshows.  I generally use Final Cut Pro when doing big projects like those.  It's amazing editing software.

ALSO:  I mentioned a couple posts ago about my mother's friend from Japan and the exchange students that were to come here.  They've landed in Edmonton safely.  They had to sleep on the floor of an airport in Tokyo for a few days, but they're ok.  Actually, I suggested to my news editor down at the station that maybe we could interview them when they got off the plane to find out their experience.  I just finished talking to my co-worker who shot the interviews and the students were thrilled to 1) be safe in Edmonton and 2) tell their stories.  Apparently the kids were just giddy.  So I'm glad we could bring a smile on their face, despite everything that's happened. I'll see if I can post the news story on Monday.  I can't wait to see them all, especially my mom's friend.  She considers Ben to be her grandson as well, albeit another country away :)

Happy Saturday!
