Like Mother, Like Son

It's really rare that I can get half-decent photos of Ben nowadays.  He's close to 2 and busy as ever.  Sitting still consists of roughly 10-15 seconds, if I'm lucky.  Today though, Ben was a little ham for the camera.

I don't post a lot of photos of Ben up on here.  The super-paranoid side of me always thinks, "What if some creeper looks at these?!  Fuuuuuck..."  Then I have flashes of "To Catch A Predator" pop in my mind along with visions of some creepy guy hiding behind the dumpster of our apartment, peeking in the window.

Did I mention I have an over-active imagination?

Enough of that...here's some photos I took of Ben today that I am in love with.  I seriously can't get over how much he's grown.  I know every parent says that, but for reals...wow!

I wanted to share this photo with you as well...remember my post about my blanket?  Here it is!  Not damaged at all thankfully.
These next couple photos are kinda funny.  I bought some '60s glasses off Etsy and they arrived last week.  They make eyes look kinda big (think Bubbles from "Trailer Park Boys"...YouTube it if you can.)  I thought it'd be entertaining to let Ben wear them around.  My little vintage man....

And of course, I wanted to share these.  At first I was hesitant, but whatever.  I've mentioned before that I CANNOT take myself seriously in photos.  Well, here's proof.  I should've had a chalkboard with math calculations behind me or something.
Yeah.  Good times were had by all.  Derrr.....

Much love,

~E

He is so stinking adorable!!! I love these pictures of him! Its nice when they hold still! haha. My little terror doesn't like to hold still much. And she has selective hearing so it makes it a lot more difficult. haha.
I love the pics of him with your retro glasses! So cute!

He looks a lot like you! :D

Lil Budoy...thanks! I thought the glasses were pretty fun too. As for my layout, I did it from scratch in Photoshop...

Danielle...he totally has selective hearing too. No means nothing to him. Should be interesting when he gets older!

Ah, these photos are sooo cute! I'm glad you posted them. And it's slightly disturbing to think of your baby as Bubbles, but I'll run with it... ; )

Glad the blanket survived too!
