I meant to post this yesterday, but got distracted. I wanted to share a couple photos from this past weekend. We decided to spend the night at my grandparent's house in the country, which was a nice change in pace. As much as I love living in the city, I miss the country a lot. There's nothing quite like looking out your window and seeing nature, not parking lots.
Also, some Polaroid film came in the mail that I had bought off Ebay, 4 packs to be exact! So exciting! I instantly started snapping pictures away...but sadly, they all came out yellow! The film expired 5 years ago which is why, but still...sigh! I'm thinking up a project I can do with these that involves cork board and 70s fabric.
Here's how some of the Polaroids came out:
They're still pretty cool looking. I think next time I buy film, it will be through the Impossible Project.
Also, I found some left over make-up from Halloween, so I drew hearts on Ben's feet. He seemed entertained by them for a while.
I love the fact that Ben can get to know his great grandparents. I know a lot of people don't get the chance to. My grandparents are getting on in years, so I'm grateful they're still pretty active and willing to play with Ben when he comes to jump on their lap.
I didn't get any photos outside, as it was snowing out again :( Spring doesn't exist here in Edmonton I think....
Hope you all had a good weekend! I can't wait for next weekend. I'm trying to organize a craft party with some friends.
Ciao for now,

It kinda sucks that they came out yellow, but at the same time they look cool in a really odd sort of way. lol
Those Polaroids are still neat despite being yellow.
Sounds like you had a great weekend. Nothing like getting away to the country for a bit.
Have a great day pretty!
Sonya and Danielle, I agree with both of you. On one hand I think it looks cool, but at the same time I'm thinking "well, this kinda sucks"...oh well. That's expired film for ya.
So sad! They are still kind of cool though. Wonder if the would look different outside.
I found a vintage polaroid camera and I want to order from the Impossible Project too. Their film seems so awesome!
I wish I had an unlimited amount of Polaroid film to use lol. ♥
Haha, cute pics! I really like the faded look. :)
The same thing happened with my expired polaroid film... I took one picture so far, but it looks kinda red instead of yellow. Really faded, though :/ Kinda bummed, but still happy I finally got my hands on some film. Either way, your pics are cute :)
I think the yellow is pretty cool...be a nice accent for a room in yellow or something.
I love polaroid pictures ... I hate that the film is so expensive! We did a Polaroid photo album as a guestbook for our wedding, it was pretty cool :D
I dig yellow so these look super fabulous to me. I love them! ;] Not many people can get film to look that rad.
Love the pictures themselves, too!
either way, the polaroids are still legit!
And no worries about the letter, I'll be just as excited when I get it! I heart snail mail :)
I'm glad your son kind of gets to know his great grandparents too. I wish I had!
aww those hearts are adorable!
these are super cute!
I love the impossible project.
they are so good to their customers!
I once bought a bad pack and they sent me a new one, free of charge and sent it over night!
