Someone had her wisdom tooth pulled out a few days ago. OUCH! It started last Saturday night with a throbbing in my head that wouldn't stop. I decided not to mess around with this one and get it pulled ASAP.
Six needles and hardly and freezing later this sucker came out and I'm now left with a sharp ache in my jaw. But is it stopping me from eating solid foods? Nope. I tried the liquid diet for a couple days and had enough of it. One can only eat so much soup before their palette tires of it. Am I right or am I right?
And yes, I kept the tooth. Initially I was creeped out by the idea, but then I thought it'd be pretty fantastic to be even creepier and freak out my boyfriend with it. Totally worked. He won't even look at it, mwahaha.
That's my story. I have 2 more wisdom teeth to get pulled, and I'm not looking forward to it :(
Later gators!

So cool that you kept your tooth. My brother got his pulled our recently too and I asked him to ask if he could keep his teeth too but I guess he forgot. :[
OUCH! luckily my mouth is big enough to accommodate my wisdom teeth but my boyfriend had all four of his pulled at once, bless him! :(
Ouchie. I hope you get to feeling better :b ps - I probably would've kept it too, ha.
Give me words of wisdom, for I am almost 30 and still putting this off.
Ouch! Hope you heal up quick! The tooth is pretty cool though, looks like a little heart ;)
AGH!! I havta get mine pulled really soon! That's scary lookin!! nooo!
if the two left are the upper teeth I tell you go for it no problem: it's easier if compared to the lower ones! I needed 10 days to fully recover when my lower tooth got pulled out, but barely a couple day for the upper one. have two more left, too, one upper and one lower and hope they will want to stay in my mouth forever! ;)
haha its cool you kept it... Sorry about the pain..My dentist told me last year that i will have to get some of my wisdom teeth pulled out... aww....no no no
x
Oh buddy I sort of feel your pain...the first part anyway. I have two totally impacted wisdom teeth and no dental insurance...so in they stay. For now.
You should wrap it in wire and string it on a necklace or hang it from a door wreath. Now that would be creepy and fun!
Ugh the last time I was at the dentist they told me I should get mine pulled. Something to do with pockets in my gums, I have no idea. I'm not doing it yet tho...no more insurance and no money for that nonsense! Hope you feel better soon!
ps... I love that you kept it!
:( All four of mine are growing in. I should really get them looked at, buuuut for now I'll keep pushing it off.
Oh gosh Erin, you are one brave lady! I have had two teeth out which was a pain in both ways but wisdom teeth are meant to be something else. I hope the next trip goes smoothly for you x
that's so crazy!! I'm 21 and never had to get any wisdom teeth pulled because i oddly only have one :] i considered myself lucky lol and seeing this picture, i know i am!!
I should really take more care of my dental hygiene as getting my teeth pulled is maybe one of my biggest fears. Reading this was the biggest cringe ever... Hope the other two pulls go ok (Y)
I kept my teeth once, in a jar. I think they went off, they stank so bad it was gross. And that is my disgusting story for the day :S x
