Breakfast Downtown

A few weekends ago I met up with Brendan for breakfast downtown.  We went to a well known greasy spoon that I love...I mean, we could've just bought some breakfast food and cooked it at one of our apartments, but where's the fun in that? ;)  I'd rather pay $7 for bacon, eggs, and toast, and be able to see the interesting folks hovering within.  But that's just me.

You may be wondering about that billboard in the above photo...same here.  They're around town, and lately they've become creepier.  I hope it's just some shitty ad campaign and not an actual personals ad.  If it is, someone is VERY lonely and should get some hobbies.

Taken with my Canon AE-1 Program.

Later gators!

I love going out for breakfast, such a treat. And that billboard: what an interesting post! I'm in the market for a camera and you were one of the first people I thought of to ask: where do I start? I currently have a Canon Rebel, baby stuff. I'm ready to upgrade but feel overwhelmed with all the choices out there. Share with me your knowledge oh camera collector!!

nothing beats a goood greasy spoon. My husband is a bit of a breakfast anorak, he can tell you where the best/worst/cheapest or most expensive ones are within a 2 mile radius haha

I am I so craxy that I think that sign is quite sweet and romantic? Probably!

I am from Victoria, BC...lived in Calgary for 8 years, then I moved here to Ontario a year and a half ago, and now I'm heading back to Calgary to live in June :) When I moved we should stage a half way visit :)))))

I hope to god they're not personal ads. If I saw one that was directed towards me, I'd freak. I'd rather go out, too. Something about being out in public and seeing people and how hilarious they are just gets me.

Haha! Love that last pic! It's reminding me of the shopaholic movie.
What an awesome camera!

The building in your first photo is where I work! My boss loves the Commodore for lunch. I've never been, but I might have to try it one day!

I'm also sufficiently creeped out by those billboards. What's the use of a personal ad with no contact info!?
